Although things are not perfect
Because of trial or pain
Continue in thanksgiving
Do not begin to blame
Even when the times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow
God is forever able
Hold on to what you know
Imagine life without His love
J oy would cease to be
Keep thanking Him for all the things
Love imparts to thee
Move out of "Camp Complaining"
No weapon that is known
On earth can yield the power
Praise can do alone
Quit looking at the future
Redeem the time at hand
Start every day with worship
To "thank" is a command
Until we see Him coming
Victorious in the sky
We’ll run the race with gratitude
X alting God most high
Y es, there’ll be good times and yes some will be bad, but...
Z ion waits in glory...where none are ever sad!

It's been a while since I last published in this blog. I'm making a comeback after 7 months of blogging silence (as far as the Soulwinner's Fire blog is concerned).
Yesterday, the last day of September, I've had the opportunity to witness to the entire Service Desk team at work. There were more than 20 people who were given the choice to trust Christ. Only God knows who among them have truly accepted him.
Couple of prayer requests:
1) That a Bible club to me started at work.
2) That the seed planted will grow and be nurtured in their hearts.
3) Divine guidance and wisdom in approaching my ministry at work.
Thank God for the souls he saved.

Our Position in Regard to the Present Issues
Pastor of Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church
via Email
The challenge before us is not how to bring the Arroyo administration down or how to silence the opposition. The challenge is how each and everyone of us may be consistent with the Scriptures in whatever we do and say; how not to be led by bursts of emotions but by our deep commitment both to the Law of God and the law of our land; how we all can uphold a rule of righteousness, decency and law.
"Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people" (Prov 14:34).
This righteousness must not just be seen in the executive branch but in the legislative and judicial branches, as well; not just in people in government but in all sectors of society, including business, military, police, media and those in the streets.
May what we all say and do come from hearts free from ill motives, political ambitions, personal gains, hunger for wealth and power and a conscience that is clean before God (His Word) and man.
Ps 106:3
3 Blessed are those who keep justice, and he who does righteousness at all times!

A) NEGATIVELY
- We are not with those who are "given to change."

KJV
- We are not with those who curse people in authority

20 Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.
KJV
- We are not for people power
Prov 30:12-13
12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
(KJV)
Prov 16:32
32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
KJV
Prov 15:18
18 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
KJV
Eccl 8:3
3 Be not hasty to go out of his sight: stand not in an evil thing; for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.
KJV
Eccl 8:5
…a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.
KJV
B) POSITIVELY
- We are for prayerful attitude in addressing the issues
1 Tim 2:1-2
2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all , supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
KJV
- We are for rule of law
Eccl 8:2
2 I counsel thee to keep the king's commandment, and that in regard of the oath of God.

KJV
2 Tim 3:16
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness :
KJV
WE PRAY TO THE LORD AND ASK ALL OUR PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN AUTHORITY, TO BE GUIDED BY THE WORD OF GOD IN ALL UNDERTAKINGS. MAY BOTH THE ADMINISTRATION AND ALL OPPOSING SECTORS AND GROUPS, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO DO INVESTIGATIONS, MANIFEST HUMILITY AND FEAR OF GOD KNOWING THAT "BY HUMILITY AND FEAR OF THE LORD ARE RICHES, AND HONOUR, AND LIFE" (Prov 22:4).
LET US ALL KEEP IN MIND THAT "WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES" (Eph 6:12).

It All Starts With God
I have embarked on this 40-day journey to discover my purpose in life. It will only take 15 to 30 minutes a day. This series will hopefully help me focus in what I should be and what I should be doing in this brief life. Life is so short to be drifting aimlessly without purpose.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

It's been very busy the past few weeks. I've just finished training the last batch of new hires, batch 7.
Last September 10, (L-F, back row then front) Norman, Maris, Melai, Claire, Malu and Eris have decided to welcome the Lord Jesus as their savior.
They have also learned that a changed person has a new WILL, WORK, WAYS, and whatever else.. hehehe.
Life should be lived with the end in mind. And what is that? Living for the glory of the Lord. Hence during our graduation we sang "Only One Life."
Help me pray that these people will grow as the Lord leads them to a new life of purpose and providence.

May these people continue to grow in grace in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Christian brethren, please pray for them.
God bless!
